Salem, MA - 7-20-14

Salem was the most schizophrenic city that I have ever seen.  On one hand they are very serious about the Witch trials and when you visit the memorial it's a solemn place and they say the city wants to forget the link to that part of history.  On the other hand, they celebrate the link to the Witch trials and make money from them.  The first few pictures are of the memorial.  It's hard to see it in the pictures, but the writing on the ground are quotes from the accused as they were dying.  Very sad.  the few pictures in the middle are historical places.  Then as the man at the visitor center explained, the rest of hysterical.  They even had a statue of Samantha from bewitched.
